| I have been monitoring the 2 meter ham band this morning and picked up traffic on 147.2700. Seems to be a rebroadcast of shuttle comms. I am in the Chillicothe Missouri area and the only repeater with that freq is in Morris ,Neb. I am very much a novice listener, could someone help me understand this? On the Millitary Comms monitoring website it states " If you are in the Daytona Area 147.2700 is a reliable frequency for Shuttle retransmissions.". Would that broadcast be on all 147.2700 repeaters? Thanks for any help and sorry about what is probably a very novice question but as I stated I am very much a ham novice. And I love it. dc |

Some repeaters do retransmit space shuttle transmissions. I live near JPL and their repeaters retransmit the shuttle. _________________ pk
