Here's my situation. KW TS440AT on desk near PC. When PC is on I get about an extra 5 db of QRN. PC does have 6 fans in it. Tried different outlets in the room, ground wire between PC & 440 but noise persists. Antenna is G5RV at 40', works fine xmit but the noise from the PC during Rx is bad. Need PC up when hamming, so the obvious is not an option.
Would an isolation transformer be of any value?
TIA

I doubt it, if the comp. is causing interference then it will no matter what.
