The following link is for an after market CABLE for ICOM CI-V operation. It will replace the ICOM OPC646 that will control a single radio. ICOM wants 130 US Dollars for the CT17, and 50 US Dollars for the OPC646.
This after market one goes for 21 US dollars.

The difference in price is huge, so I'm wondering if there's some sort of catch to all this.
